I AM YOUNG MAN LOOKING TO MOVE TO THE DENVER AREA BUT ITS HARD BECAUSE IM STUCK HAVING TO WORK IN TEXAS WHERE I CURRENTLY LIVE, BUT MY QUESTION IS WHAT DO LOCAL HOME EVERY NIGHT TRUCK DRIVING JOBS PAY AROUND THAT AREA, I HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH HAZ MAT AND TANKER, 1 MOVING VIOLATION I GOT THE SECOND DAY I HAD A JOB, BUT NONE SINCE, AND I CAN PASS ALL DOT PHYSICALS, PLEASE HELP BECAUSE I SEE THAT RENT AND REAL ESTATE IS PRETTY HIGH AROUND THERE AND I WANT TO FIND A JOB UP THERE THAT WILL MAKE THE BILLS, I CURRENTLY AM AT 60 THOUSAND DOLLARS A YEAR SO IF ANYONE KNOWS OF A COMPANY UP THERE PAYING AT LEAST THAT OR MORE PLEASE LET ME KNOW, I VISITED UP THERE A WEEK AGE ON VACATION AND WOULD REALLY LOVE TO SETTLE THERE , THANKS DANNY O.

I am in my early thirtys and have come to a dead end in my current job hence the need to change direction. I am college educated and have always had an intrest in politics. I’m trying to figure out what would be the best way for me to break in to the political field in either state or local government, or one of the main party’s in the state. I realize this is a big topic but anything that would help to point me in the right direction would help. Thanks.

In the classifieds of my local paper there were several ads talking about government jobs, postal workers wanted, etc. They said you can make an hour and up with full benefits… but first you had to pay to get their materials sent to you ( to over 0). They said there was a full money back guarantee if you did not pass the qualifying tests and get offered a job.

Is this legit? Is it even really for government jobs? Anyone who has done this or knows about it please respond… I think it’s odd that the government would charge you money before you apply for a job with them… Are these ads for real or is it a big scam?

I live in St. Louis and I see JB hunt day cabs hauling Anheuser – Bush products. So I know they are local routs because the are day cabs. I have 2 years experience driving trucks, when I called JB Hunt the recrutter got funny and asked how I new about "Those" jobs. I said because I live in St. louis By Anheuser – Bush. she said a driver has to quit one of "Those" jobs for me to get one, and then proceded to try to strong arm me in an over the road job. So how do I or how hard is it to get a local job with JB Hunt? Do they have other local driver jobs? Once in a while I see a swift truck with a day cab? how about swift do they have local truck driving jobs also?

A flood of visitors went to check out a large number of jobs on offer at Luton’s first Jobs & Careers fair. Some 20 organisations showcased to potential employees at the Auction House recruitment and training event. The event was sponsored by privately owned residential developments managers Peverel OM, which look after more than 70000 homes in the UK and are expanding in the Luton area. Bronwen Anderson of Peverel OM was very impressed with the event. She said: ‘As this was our first recruitment event in the local area, we were pleased with the numbers of prospective candidates. Many will go on to interview for positions in our company.’ Local newspapers The herald&post The Luton News and Dunstable Gazette supported the event and had a very successful time with many visitors uploading their cvs to the expert job seeking website www.jobstoday.co.uk.
