I just graduated with a MBA from a local school and would really love to get a job with the federal government. I don’t have alot of experience to go with my education. My questions #1 I read GS- 9 positions are for people with a Master’s degree…do I have to apply for GS-9 to be considered for employment? #2 Is there a simpler or more effective way to apply other than through USAjobs? I’ve put in quite a few applications there and I haven’t received anything other than an automated response so far. #3 I live in the states but would love to work in a different country for a few years (one of the reasons I’ve been looking to government jobs). Is it easy to make a move once you get your foot into the door? Thank you for any help…

Revenues are down for not only corporations, but also the federal, state, and local governments. So why is the federal government adding so many jobs? Don’t you think they would be contracting due to the lower amount of revenue they are receiving?

What if your local town/community was given autonomy, would they fair better or worse then the federal government? Would this system work better for our society as a whole?
